Society treasurer Pat Johnston attended the competition and is delighted to be able to report that overall Hexham & District Photographic Society came a very creditable second place:-
Place | Club | Score |
1 | Winlaton | 264 |
2 | Hexham | 261 |
3 | Ryton | 259 |
4 | Gateshead | 257 |
5 | Whickham | 254 |
6 | South Shields | 245 |
The judge marked each print out of a total of 30 with a minimum score of 22. The only 30 achieved on the night was by Gerry Adcock of Winlaton with one of his typically gritty people shots. There were only three “29” scores awarded on the night, and I am pleased to be able to confirm that one was awarded to Hexham member John Austin, who's excellent "Curlew in Flight" is worthy of our congratulations.
