Hexham Photographic Society has traditionally held a manned public annual exhibition of prints and PDI images produced by members. The exhibition has been held in a number of venues in the past such as Hexham Abbey, the Moot Hall and supported by additional events in the Forum Cinema or in shop windows throughout the town.
Exhibition in Forum Cafe Summer 2019
Although the pandemic has disrupted this somewhat, with the last manned exhibition taking place in the Abbey in 2019, the society has managed to continue to host smaller but more frequent exhibitions of prints by utilising vacant shop windows and within the cafe area of the Forum Cinema.

Windows on Photography Exhibitions
Hexham, like many towns and cities throughout the country, has seen an increase in the number of vacant shop premises over recent years. Hexham & District Photographic Society working with Hexham Spaces have managed to run a number of exhibitions making use of various vacant shop windows throughout the town centre in order to spotlight various members or to show content that is of local interest.
Many thanks to Hexham Spaces for assisting by working with the numerous Landlords and agents to enable access to make these exhibitions possible. More information on Hexham Spaces and further images are available to view by visiting the Hexham Spaces website.
